About the Role
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join their dynamic team in Orlando. As a leading Commercial General Contractor, They specialize in large-scale projects in the healthcare, education, multi-family, and office sectors, with project values ranging from $3 million to $60 million.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex commercial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the highest quality of work and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Provide leadership and direction to all on-site personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork and safety.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress photos.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent with a focus on healthcare, education, multi-family, or office projects.
- Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $3 million to $60 million in value.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and project sequencing.
- Proficient in project management software such as Pro-Core, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- OSHA 30 certification is required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
