The Galen Hope team is comprises of a seasoned group of clinicians who are capable of working with highly complex presentations and also works with patients who have had a history of treatment trauma, or poor response to prior treatment.
Role Description
This is a part-time or full time, on-site role for a psychotherapist located in Coral Gables, FL. As a psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing individual, group and family therapy sessions to clients. Creativity, team work, flexibility and compassion are essential to successful adaptation to our work environment.
Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
- A valid license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Florida
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, and psychodynamic therapy
- Ability to work with diverse populations and respect individual differences and cultures
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and ethical practices
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client sessions and progress
- Compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic attitude towards clients
- Ability to work collaboratively with other mental health professionals and refer clients if necessary
