Eastern Alloys, Inc., a major producer of zinc alloys since 1965 is currently seeking a full-time Inside Sales Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Maybrook, NY.
Candidate must have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be flexible and adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer service, support and responsiveness. This person will assist the Company’s Leadership and Traders while creating, processing and tracking supplier and customer contracts, orders, inventory, receipts and shipments.
Responsibilities Include:
Creating purchase and sales contracts
Posting sales orders
Prepare settlements.
Invoicing
Prepare all necessary documents for overseas shipments, including BOL, ST, wood/ non-wood and insurance certificates.
Tracking containers
Cross train with our Sales Department
Perform other various tasks as assigned.
Minimum Education and Skills Requirements:
Four-year college degree, business or supply chain field a plus
Logistics experience minimum five years
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player with a strong customer service focus
Highest attention to detail and accuracy
Data entry
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Sound judgement, tact and discretion.
Strong organizational and time management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
