Northeastern Aviation Corp. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aviation Training Manager to join our team. The Aviation Training Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and administration of all aviation training programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation and Microsoft Office, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all training activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of aviation training, including scheduling, logistics, instructor assignments, and participant enrollment.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certification status.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments, external training providers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees participating in aviation training programs, including assistance with enrollment, scheduling conflicts, and technical issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to aviation training.
- Ensure training programs for pilots, crew, and staff comply with FAR Part 135 and Part 91, focusing on regulatory, safety, and operational standards. Regularly update materials to reflect FAA changes and oversee recurrent training to maintain readiness and safety.
- Ideally seeking a retired Principal Operations Inspector (POI). A POI is an FAA inspector who ensures airlines or charter operators follow safety regulations, monitors flight operations, and approves training programs and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, aviation science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in aviation training coordination or a similar role preferred.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, such as those set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Federal Aviation Regulations FAR Part 135 and Part 91 and relevant international regulatory bodies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training-related activities.

Annual base salary range: $40,000 - $60,000
