The Litigation Legal Assistant is a client-dedicated role that supports the client’s legal department. In this role you will serve as a Legal Assistant and will support a team of attorneys and paralegals. Together, you will deliver world-class support to multiple litigation and legal matters. You will interact with in-house counsel, and paralegals to e-file in State and Federal Courts, organize files and provide additional office support. As a Legal Assistant, you foster a collaborative environment with a can-do attitude and a vision of excellence, inclusivity, and compassion while also being process-oriented and striving for efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Work at direction of Attorneys and Paralegals
- Responsible for all State and Federal Court e-filings
- Responsible for organization of files
- Draft routine legal documents
- General office support

- Support other team members with training and education to encourage best practices and high-quality service
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years hands-on experience working with legal departments or in litigation, including admin support
- Microsoft Office experience
- Strong technical aptitude and interest
- Interest in learning a variety of tools to aid knowledge management and vendor engagement to assist attorneys and paralegals
- Ability to work independently and proactively to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment, including managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams
- Sound business judgment and ability to handle multiple wide-ranging matters and conflicting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues quickly and effectively in a positive and practical manner
- Ability to foster and facilitate teamwork by cultivating relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners in the pursuit of team goals; shares information and supports others
- Customer service oriented and responsive
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, are essential
