Studio 1200 is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 8+ years experience to join our Corporate Interiors team. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and nurturing the "Big Idea" for projects;
- Managing the design deliverables for all phases from Programming through Construction Documents and Construction Administration;
- Developing the concept design, schematic design and design development presentations;
- Strong space planning skills, three dimensional sketches, renderings;
- FF&E and finishes selections and specifications;
- Develop and manage budgets, bid comparisons and value engineering;
- Working collaboratively with Creative Director, Studio Director and Architects;
- Mentoring and overseeing junior staff
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
- Develop detailed plans, including layouts, furniture selections, lighting, and color schemes
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee the installation of designs to ensure they meet quality standards
