Youth Outreach Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Denver, CO, plus on site visits (Hybrid – In Office 2 Days a Week)
Pay Rate: $38/hour
Contract Length: 14 months
We are seeking an enthusiastic Youth Outreach Coordinator to join our transportation client with a purpose of engaging and empowering young people through community-driven programs. This is a hybrid position, requiring in-office presence two days a week and active outreach across the Denver metro area.
About the Role:
As the Youth Outreach Coordinator, you will be the face of an exciting new initiative that provides accessible services and educational resources to youth under 18. You’ll lead outreach efforts in schools, community hubs, and other youth-centric spaces, building relationships and promoting participation in a wide range of programs. Your work will involve planning community events, delivering presentations, and collaborating with local organizations to inspire youth engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a representative of the youth outreach initiative, engaging directly with schools, after-school programs, and community centers.
- Develop and execute a 12-month outreach plan in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Establish connections with local youth organizations and schools to foster program participation.
- Attend and coordinate community events to promote youth services, including some evenings and weekends.
- Lead presentations and discussions tailored to youth audiences, parents, and community leaders.
- Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and create regular reports to track progress.
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in youth services or education: Experience in youth programming, coaching, mentoring, or education is preferred.
- Independent and resourceful: Capable of working autonomously, managing your schedule, and taking initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Comfortable engaging with diverse groups and building community partnerships.
- Detail-oriented and organized: Able to juggle multiple outreach efforts, event planning, and administrative tasks.
