Our client is seeking a skilled Systems & Network Engineer to join our IT team in a newly created position. This role will focus on supporting our current environment, serving as a backup to the IT Director, and assisting in leading the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server & Active Directory environments
- Assist in transitioning from Ubiquiti to Fortinet
- Support Entra ID migration and Azure Cloud initiatives
- Administer systems including Windows servers, storage, and firewalls
- Provide strategic planning for network security
- Manage server backups, mobile device management, and cloud environments
- Serve as tier 2 support and provide direct support when necessary
Ideal Candidate
- 4+ years of experience in system and network maintenance
- Strong knowledge of Windows server, AD, DNS, WINS, WSUS, cloud compute environments
- Experience with Fortinet, Juniper, or Aruba preferred
- Familiarity with Azure and Azure Cloud
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with various stakeholders
- Enterprise or entertainment industry experience a plus
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in IS, IT, or related field
- Networking certification (e.g., CCNA) or working towards one
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite in Century City, 1 day remote
- 20% travel, primarily to Downtown LA
