Our client is seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to lead the construction of ground-up single-family homes. This role involves overseeing all phases of construction, from site development through project completion. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of residential construction sites.
- Oversee the full construction cycle, including site preparation, foundation, framing, and finishing.
- Ensure quality control by conducting regular site inspections and addressing issues as they arise.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and material procurement to ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in ground-up single-family home construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials for residential buildings.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and subcontractor teams simultaneously.
