Lead Salesforce Architect (CPQ)

The Role:
You will be a technical lead who will assist with new feature design, code review, quality assurance, and system integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Expert in Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick) and Billing, including Tax and Subledger integrations
- Proficient with CPQ and Billing features: Amendments, Cancellations, Product Rules, Pricing Rules, CPQ Pricing Scripts, Advanced Approvals, Vertex Integration, Credit Notes, Debit Notes, and Payments
- Strong knowledge of integration protocols (REST, SOAP) and Salesforce platform strategies (Batch Schedulers, Queueable jobs)
- Familiarity with Lightning components, applications, events, and component-to-component communication
- Deep understanding of CPQ Product Modeling and its impact on quoting and billing
- Proficient in both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall methodologies, with focus on SDLC principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills for coaching, code reviews, and user interactions
- Skilled in Lightning Web Components CPQ Development, Pricing Rules, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, and DHTML
- Experience with debugging methods, including Anonymous Code Block execution and working with System and Developer Logs
- Hands-on experience with enterprise deployment tools (e.g., Copado, Autorabbit, Flowsum) and related best practices
- Strong communication skills to explain complex topics to business stakeholders
- Adaptable to new environments with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to produce system design documents and lead technical walkthroughs
- Consistently deliver high-quality code
- Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the system architecture
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 6 to 8 years of experience in application development using Salesforce CPQ
- Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, and DHTML
- Experience with Salesforce.com API, SOAP messaging, Platform Events, and ETL integrations
- Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Test-driven development
- Experience in highly regulated financial industry and SOX compliance commitments
- Hands-on APEX development experience
