TITLE: Training Group Evaluator
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX; Lackland AFB
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Secret Clearance

POSITION SUMMARY
Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Training Group Evaluator responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating technical training courses, instructional materials, and measurement tools. This role involves addressing educational and instructional challenges, ensuring that training aligns with Air Force (AF), Air Education Training Command (AETC), and unit objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Act as the Training Development Evaluator (TDE), planning and aligning training courses with organizational goals.
- Design and update curricula to stay current with educational developments.
- Develop and apply instructional criteria, especially in unique or evolving areas.
- Assess and improve training outcomes, student performance, and instructional methods.
- Create effective learning paths and perform training analyses.
- Ensure training modules are well-structured and aligned with objectives.
- Manage learning objectives, task relationships, and performance aids.
- Set and integrate training goals with organizational priorities.
- Research and apply training principles, policies, and regulations, establishing necessary procedures.
- Adjust priorities, manage workloads, and provide guidance on training and administrative matters.
- Collaborate with managers to review missions and resource needs.
- Identify and request necessary resources to meet objectives.
- Advise supervisors on significant issues and ensure problems are resolved.
- Set up metrics and perform self-inspections to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Serve as an expert on policies and regulations governing technical training.
- Develop and revise technical training materials following AETC guidelines.
- Conduct research to solve training program issues.
- Represent Training Development in various organizational meetings.
- Document processes and drive continual improvement.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- 2 AF Technical Training experience (17 TRG, 37 TRG, 59 TRG, 81 TRG, 82 TRG, 782 TRG, SWTG or any of their subordinate squadrons).
- Bachelor's degree in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Learning Design or a related education field.
- Experience in online curriculum development and instructional design experience with a team (e.g., subject-matter-experts, multimedia developers, and developers).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills - must work effectively both individually and as a virtual team member.
- Strong project and time management skills, e.g., meeting deadlines and handling diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization.
- Knowledgeable with ICIS, TTMS and LMS systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google products.
- Physical requirements include: Garrison work environment including but not limited to: Occasional field environments, Tactical observations of Final Exercise Phase (FEP) and other key training phases.
- Occasional extended working hours will be required.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with AETC course management and instructional design.
- Prior experience as an Instructor Supervisor or training manager preferred.
- Background in Special Warfare and AETC training methodology.
- Ability to learn emerging technologies.
