Role Summary:
The Controls Engineer will be instrumental in the analysis, development, and maintenance of automation and control systems critical to operational success. This role involves working with advanced technologies in a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, innovation, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation and control systems for various I/O devices connected to PLCs.
- Provide rapid response to technical issues, contributing to system reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and schematics for all control systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Collaborate on the development and maintenance of network infrastructure, working closely with IT and external vendors.
- Mentor and support technical staff, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or relevant experience in a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise with Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation products.
- Thorough understanding of network communication protocols and security measures within ICS environments.
