AllSTEM Connections has a need for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in Mount Clemens, MI. These positions are direct hire/perm positions with some amazing benefits including a bonus program. The positions will be onsite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field.
- 7 years professional work experience
- 3 years or more of work experience in Electrical & Instrumentation design
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Understanding of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, engineering standards
- Working knowledge of controls systems (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
- Working knowledge of controls protocols (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the different elements of an electrical cabinet
- Understanding of motor controls and VFDs
- Understand how to size components (fuses, disconnects, power supplies, arc flash, etc.)
- Understanding of how to perform an electrical/controls safety review.
- ISA standard experience preferred.
