Job Overview – Practice Manager:
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our client's medical office in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, a solid managerial background, and a deep understanding of operational functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy and understanding towards both staff and patients.
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000/year
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Practice Manager:
- Main Contact: Serve as the primary support for staff, patients, and clients, maintaining positive relationships.
- Staff Management: Oversee hiring, development, and performance management in collaboration with HR.
- Operational Efficiency: Guide staff, prioritize patient needs, and ensure smooth office operations.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coaching and Feedback: Provide coaching and feedback to staff, suggesting solutions to challenges.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports with commentary on data variances.
- Administrative Duties: Handle scheduling, clerical tasks, and onboarding.
- Risk and Growth Management: Identify risks and growth opportunities, consulting with relevant departments on regulations and certifications.
Qualifications for the Practice Manager:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Healthcare Administration, Business Management/Administration).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar medical position.
- Knowledge: Understanding of NY Workers Compensation Policies, No Fault, and Liens.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Language: Spanish speaking is a plus!
