A prestigious law firm with multiple offices across the U.S. is seeking a motivated Senior Business Development Coordinator to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.
Your contributions will play a key role in advancing strategic goals, building and maintaining client relationships, driving business expansion, and supporting overall revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Business Development in achieving strategic objectives through research, reporting, and analytics.
- Work on go-to-market initiatives for selected business units.
- Manage projects from conception to launch, including developing project plans, coordinating progress meetings, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Prepare tailored client proposals and RFPs, including writing, editing, proofreading, and ensuring proper distribution and follow-up.
- Maintain and update representative experience descriptions and capability statements for proposals and directories.
- Conduct competitor analysis and prepare client and target background dossiers.
- Write and prepare submissions for legal directories and rankings, focusing on raising the profile of practices and partners.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on developing content for podcasts, webinars, and events.
- Ensure all business development and marketing expenses comply with the firm’s policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, with at least 5 years of experience in a professional services environment (preferably in a law firm).
- Excellent communication, writing, editorial, proofreading, and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Proven client service skills, including strong influencing and negotiating abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
