Job Title: Commercial Supply Systems Analyst
Location: Fishers, In (hybrid with flexibility)
Duration: 3-month contract (with potential for extension)
Project Overview:
We are seeking a Commercial Supply Systems Analyst to support our client’s business analysis needs as they plan to transition from Smartsheets to Monday.com. This role will focus on working with internal teams to analyze existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and experience with workflow tools like Smartsheets and Monday.com (or similar platforms) to guide the planning and preparation for a successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing workflows in Smartsheets and collaborate with internal teams to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to document current business processes and provide insights on how to optimize them for Monday.com integration.
- Participate in discovery sessions to assess what is feasible, necessary, and unfeasible in the planned migration.
- Assist in planning for the migration by outlining potential challenges, identifying solutions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide recommendations for the optimal use of Monday.com based on business requirements and workflow needs.
- Support the project lead in scoping and planning exercises, including facilitating discussions with stakeholders.
- Document findings, recommendations, and project plans to ensure a clear path forward for the eventual implementation of Monday.com.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, with a strong focus on workflow analysis and business process improvement.
- Experience with Smartsheets and Monday.com (or similar platforms) and the ability to compare functionalities and recommend improvements.
- Proven ability to conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions based on business needs.
- Strong communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills to support project planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on projects involving workflow or platform migration, particularly with Smartsheets and/or Monday.com.
- Ability to work on-site with local teams and support hands-on business analysis activities.
- Familiarity with order management or supply chain systems is a plus but not required.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to map current and future workflows and data processes between Smartsheets and Monday.com.
- Strong attention to detail in documenting business processes and areas for improvement.
