Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Use professional communication and motivational techniques to create programs to train, supervise, counsel, and develop the staff
- Responsible for reporting data to respective internal and external parties
- Handle disciplinary actions and performance reviews
- Have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in warehouse related systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, DMS, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to timelines
- Willingness and physical ability to participate hands-on in warehousing activities in varying seasonal temperatures
- Lead continuous improvement plans for warehouse efficiency, inventory control and staffing productivity
- Works with GM and Operation Manager to develop and maintain staffing needs
- Responsible for overseeing the daily handling of all inbound/outbound freight to ensure customer shipping requirements are met
- Supports management and enforces all warehouse rules and regulations including safety compliance programs
Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 12:00am (including 1 hour lunch)
Skills
The ability to read, write and communicate effectively utilizing a wide variety of networks is required. Supervisor must be familiar with office machinery, as well as effectively operate on the computer systems and all required customer systems as well necessary personal computer programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years previous leadership or supervisor experience in high-volume and distribution center.
- United States employment eligibility
- Ability to work past normal operating hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays as necessary
- Strong Time management skills
