Title: Sales Associate, National Accounts
Description: The ideal candidate must be an energetic and positive self-starter who is capable of managing and prioritizing heavy inbound/outbound phone contact with existing National Accounts within a designated Region. The position requires excellent organization, communication skills, both verbal and written, computer and phone skills, and the ability to achieve assigned sales goals.
We’re seeking a Sales Associate to support our Regional Teams and drive incremental revenue through direct outreach. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Account Development Managers in the Region and follow-up on current U and E accounts as defined by the company, schedule monthly Cycle Visits with existing National Accounts virtually to increase the growth of these Accounts. The candidate must be adaptable to changing priorities and thrive in a high-paced environment.
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include the following (and other related duties as assigned)
- Analyze Account information with the preparation of corresponding activities and follow-up of those actions.
Identify decision makers within existing National Accounts to further the sales process.
Penetrate all targeted accounts and drive sales from within account base.
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing U and E accounts as defined by the company via phone and email to cross-sell and upsell monthly promotions and incentives.
Collaborate with appropriate team members within the Region to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
Maintain strong communication with the Regional Sales Manager and Account Development Managers in the Region on updates regarding daily activity and next steps.
Maintain strong communication with the Leadership Team of our National Accounts through written, verbal and virtual communication.
Drive engagement to JMSR Webinars and Initiatives.
Ensure follow-up by passing information to appropriate Account Development Manager with call to action, dates, complete account profile information, etc.
Overcome objections of existing accounts and present the opportunity of our monthly/quarterly sales drivers, promotions and events.
Update changes to existing accounts in the corporate CRM platform.
- Daily entry of all Account activity within the CRM platform.
- Ensure all relevant data is kept/updated within the CRM system accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain daily call log of all outreach calls made with next steps.
Emphasize JMSR product/service features and benefits, provide proposals, prepare sales orders and discuss payment options.
Appropriately and confidently communicate the brand identity, point of differences, and value proposition.
Schedule and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations and other sales actions via a virtual platform.
When necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, networking partner events and other events.
Attend weekly regional meeting and monthly national meeting, both virtual.
Attend sales training when applicable.
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Position requires the ability to work remotely at a desk, use computer and talk on the telephone. Travel may be required on occasion, not to exceed 5-10% over an extended period of time. If needed, the position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time (ex. at industry shows and conferences).
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven sales experience required, preferably aesthetic sales.
- Track record of over-achieving.
- Charismatic and outgoing.
- Excellent time management is required.
- Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Solid knowledge of managing account information in a Customer Relationship Management platform.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Possess good judgment and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications.
