- Previous experience utilizing ERP system to generate product routings and costing.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications, and MS Windows.

Day to day
A client of insight global is seeking a Project Estimator. The project estimator will determine the materials, labor, outside vendor requirements, and equipment necessary for production. Additionally, the Cost Estimator works closely with the engineering, quality, and planning to ensure that production processes are optimized for efficiency and quality. Client capabilities include CNC Milling (5-axis, 4-axis, and 3-axis), CNC Turning, EDM, assembly, and hand finishing operations.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, and other data to determine fit with equipment and technical capabilities.
- Determine the required materials, labor, and outside vendor requirements.
- Create product routings in ERP system including selecting equipment necessary for production and, in coordination with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams as necessary, define hours required for each operation.
- Generate costing and pricing proposals; submit to customers as required.
- Create manufacturing job traveler routings, review and submit to planning and manufacturing teams.
compensation :
$80,000 to 90,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
