On behalf of our client, VECOPLAN North America, we are currently seeking an (outside) Aftermarket Sales Representative to join their aftermarket sales & service team. This is an excellent career opportunity for a talented sales professional with 3+ years of experience selling parts and service contracts for a capital equipment manufacturing company. The location is preferred to be onsite at the company’s headquarters for North America in Archdale, NC, combined with an estimated 50% domestic travel time. For the right person, it can also be a hybrid role or remote in the Mid-Atlantic region.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Call on existing customers within North America to build and maintain a customer network to identify new sales leads.
- Generate revenue in accordance with the sales plan.
- Promote our brand and visibility; provide sales forecasts.
- Establish long-term relationships with our customers.
- Identify and contact potential customers for our parts and services.
- Communicate and deliver superior customer service daily.
- Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
- Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
- Create and maintain a database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of customer information; maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, etc.
- Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives promptly, and follow up.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Cold call; make multiple outbound calls to existing customers.
- Inform customers of deals and promotions.
- Travel customer sites frequently. Estimated travel time 50%.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline or higher. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- 3-5 years of outside sales and customer service in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced selling parts, Preventive Maintenance agreements, repairs, and services.
- Experienced working with CRM; MS Dynamics preferred.
- Proficient computer skills; MS Office, ERP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to customers daily.
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
- Customer-oriented and able to adapt/respond to different types of customers.
