Join the leading maritime technology organization in the US as a Junior Content Manager. The organization has a history of over 150 years leading maritime safety with the stable backing of the US government and military.
This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of experience in Learning Management Systems or Content Management Systems, ready to join a multiyear project for a new SaaS Platform. This will be a hybrid, long term contract opportunity located in Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage help content for multiple client-facing modules
- Develop instructional materials using text, storyboards, and application videos
- Learn and become proficient in the Whatfix platform (they will teach you!)
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy of content
- Maintain and update existing help documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience with Learning Management Systems or Content Management Systems
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to create clear, concise instructional content
- Experience with storyboarding and video creation for software applications
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms
