Vaco Richmond Recruiting for a
Human Resources Generalist who will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support for various HR-related matters such as coordination, recruitment, payroll, and benefits.
All potential candidates must reside locally in the Richmond, VA region.
Responsibilities:- Handle administrative tasks such as onboarding, new-hire orientation, and data entry into HRIS systems.
- Assist in communication, and interpretation of employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding employment laws and policies.
- Assist with employee benefit programs, answer inquiries, and ensure compliance.
- Payroll processing including updating employee files, bonus/incentive pay, benefit charges, hourly-employee validations, entering/editing hours, etc.
Qualifications:- Previous experience using HRIS related systems.
- 3 + years of generalist or coordinator experience in a corporate setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
