Raith is seeking a motivated Applications Engineer to support applications development in electron beam lithography and SEM-based metrology. The position will be based at Raith’s International Applications Center in Troy, NY.
Your mission
- Join Raith’s global applications development team in generating new workflows, features, and products related to electron beam lithography and SEM measurement systems.
- Become an advanced user of Raith nanofabrication systems, including the full product line (Electron Beam lithography, Ion beam systems, SEM-based metrology, and Software solutions)
- Support customer applications for EBL and SEM inspection systems, including some travel to customer sites in the region
- Actively support development topics of interest to Raith and our customers.
- Develop new solutions to drive innovation and industrial implementation of nanoscale technologies using Raith systems.
Your Qualifications
- A passion for nanoscale instrumentation and fabrication processes informed by a hands-on background in the physical sciences or
- engineering.
- Exceptional team working and communications skills are critically important, as well as being results-driven.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and experience with nanofabrication, metrology, and data-driven analysis.
- Ph.D. in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Preferred: Experience with Electron Beam Lithography, DUV Optical Lithography, metrology and characterization with CDSEM, process control methodologies, SPC, and Design of Experiment.
- Preferred: Experience scripting for scientific data processing using Javascript, JMP, MATLAB, Python, R, etc.
- Preferred: Ability to do some travel in the Americas and to Europe.
