Summary:
The QTI Group is partnering with a construction company in hiring a direct hire Payroll Administrator to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for managing weekly payroll processing for union and non-union employees, compliance reporting, benefits administration, and maintaining payroll policies. The position offers 1st shift hours, Monday-Friday, with a starting pay of $26/hr. based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for union & non-union employees.
- Ensure payroll tax and government reporting accuracy.
- Handle deductions, insurance, and benefit enrollments.
- Prepare certified payroll and union reports.
- Track employee leave and manage onboarding/offboarding.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting/Finance/HR or related experience.
- 2+ years’ experience processing payroll.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Prior job cost/construction experience is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
