Job Title: Plant Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead our Service Center team. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, high productivity, and adherence to quality standards while maintaining profitability. This role involves optimizing processes to achieve quality, output, and cost control goals. The Plant Manager will also oversee staffing to meet production deadlines and work closely with the Supply Chain and Quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor plant operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives through efficient use of personnel and equipment.
- Develop and report daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators (KPIs) for the plant.
- Execute production plans to meet or exceed customer delivery expectations.
- Promote and enforce consistent adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Oversee staffing and ensure employees are trained to meet performance goals.
- Coach and develop team members to become high-performance contributors.
- Manage relationships with local staffing agencies to meet workforce needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve processes and drive corporate performance.
- Monitor departmental performance against goals and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Oversee warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and ERP transactions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, lean manufacturing, and process improvement programs.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking ability.
- Proven leadership in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiating.
- Commitment to driving lean principles and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of office tools and equipment, occasional use of manufacturing tools.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, with occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling.
