Job Overview
As a Store Crew member at eegee's, you'll help make our mission to "work, eat, and grow" come true. You'll take orders, make food, handle payments, and ensure our eegees are top quality. Your job will include general tasks and some special duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Guest Experience:
- Provide exceptional service to guests by efficiently taking orders, assembling and presenting food orders, and operating the cash register.
- Use our point-of-sale system comfortably.
- Food Preparation:
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens and deep fryers.
- Prepare, wash, and cut food items.
- Cook multiple orders at once, ensuring everything is made to guests' specifications.
- Stock, check, and maintain product stock levels, ensuring proper rotation.
- Batch Responsibilities:
- May operate the batch machine to produce eegees, ensuring product quality and safety.
- May manage eegee production, including measuring, filling, mixing, extracting, and cleaning the machine.
- Prep and add fruit and clean the machine with food-grade gel at the end of the shift.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness:
- Maintain high sanitation and cleanliness standards in all food prep areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Keep the restaurant clean, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning walls, tables, counters, kitchen and service equipment, and the guest service area.
- Ensure all equipment is working properly and notify management of any issues.
- Help fellow team members as needed to serve our guests better.
- Take on other responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (with or without accommodations)
- Learn and share our menu details with guests.
- Be flexible in performing various tasks and adjusting to different job functions and schedules.
- Handle multiple tasks with good time management.
- Understand and maintain sanitation standards.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Accurately measure ingredients and follow recipes.
Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic math understanding.
- Guest service and communication skills.
Physical Requirements (required with or without accommodation)
- Available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Workaround hot equipment, oil, cold environments (freezer), and loud noises.
- Move freely around the restaurant and stand for long periods.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Engage in activities requiring use of hands, arms, legs, and frequent bending, lifting, and walking.
- Use reasoning skills for decision-making, problem-solving, and comprehending information throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience.
