The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, procurement, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Procurement Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement best practices to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including operations, finance, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support overall business objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of safety and quality in all supply chain activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in supply chain management software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
