Designed to be an extension of one’s resume, Auteurnet is a portfolio platform that allows audiovisual creators to have creative freedom without the hassle of designing a personal website or the oversaturation of social media, all while providing a highly interactive space for networking and collaboration in-site.
At Auteurnet, we strive to provide a space for creative professionals of all levels to advance their careers: whether through our accessible portfolio toolkit or our new internship program. The Position
The Communications and Outreach Intern will be working closely with the Operations Manager and Coordinator on the company outreach and communications with film-related educational institutions, independent organizations, film festivals, and other industry groups.
The internship will be from January through May 2025. It will be majority remote with the opportunity for in-person days in Boston, MA if that is of interest to the intern.
It is a 16-20 hour/week internship with a flexible schedule.
This is a paid position.
Responsibilities
- Outreach aimed at higher education institutions and establish and maintain relationships with their film and media departments
- Establish and maintain relationships with organizations in the film and media industry
- Research industry trends and networking opportunities
- Assist in planning and organizing events for Auteurnet
- Work closely with Operations Manager and Coordinator to draft external communications
- Assist in creating presentational material for email communications and in-person panels and presentations
- Assist in creating social media content and branded content
- Attend meetings with the operations and marketing departments and take notes
- Plan, produce, edit, and post video content
- Contribute to the emerging company culture at Auteurnet
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited higher education institution
- Experience with film/media production at amateur, student, or professional level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram and TikTok)
- Familiarity with Canva and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Comfortable with Google Workspace (Mail, Docs, Slides, etc.)
- Self-motivated and creative thinker
