Our OSI Electronics division is a diversified manufacturer of electronic devices and value-added manufacturing services for use in a broad range of applications, including aerospace and defense electronics, security and inspection systems, and medical monitoring and diagnostics. OSI Electronics is seeking a Program Manager to join their team. The program manager is responsible for organizing programs and activities in accordance with business needs and requirements. Responsible for developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization. Creating and managing long-term goals. Developing a budget and operating plan for the program. Will also dedicate approximately 30% of the time to generating new business for OSIE.
Responsibilities
- Financial understanding of customer accounts to include revenue planning, quoting, NRE/PPV/ECOs, and inventory management.
- Execute RFQs including pricing, labor, material, and reviews.
- Manage the customer relationship.
- Market research to identify target customers and evaluate customer needs.
- Review and ensure that OSIE team is properly interpreting and executing to contractual requirements.
- Support the customer focus team in continuous improvement/lean process, present alternatives to the customer, understand customer’s product life cycle.
- Ensure customer documentation is loaded.
- Hold pre-production kick offs (and/or manufacturing readiness reviews).
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through networking and initial customer contact (cold calling, trade shows, conferences, industry events).
- Responsible for generating revenue with sales goals.
- Generate a monthly forecast and activity summary.
- Generate proposals, costs, and quotations.
- Work closely with customers, production, and program management team.
- Lead the team such that members are engaged, responsible and productive to satisfy internal/external metrics.
- Provide acceptable commitments based on customer demand and OSIE capabilities.
- Onboarding of new accounts (or accounts as assigned by management).

Qualifications
- A.S. Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field required. Years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience working in an electronics manufacturing industry, preferably in a leadership/project management role, is required.
- Program Management experience desired.
- Experience with medical/ aerospace /or military customers a plus.
- D365 and/or Navision experience strongly desired.
- Intermediate computer skills to include MS Office tools, and Project Mgt software needed.
- Must be assertive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams, able to problem solve, prioritize and have the ability to multitask and continuously improve processes and capabilities.
- Must exhibit organizational and troubleshooting skills, and must be detail oriented.
