A well-established aerospace component parts manufacturer based in Wixom, MI, is seeking to fill a full-time position in our Quality Department.
The right applicant will possess a thorough knowledge of the following:
• The set-up and use of precision hand gaging and other standard inspection equipment (optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, Rockwell Tester, etc)
• First Article and first piece inspections, as well as in-process inspection
• Familiarity with G, D&T concepts and implementation of those concepts
• Possess strong Blueprint reading skills
• Be detail oriented, articulate and have basic PC skills
• Ability to become a DQR
• Familiarity with AS9100
