We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a contract opportunity in Nashville!
The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This role ensures the smooth operation of hardware and equipment by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading systems as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops and other hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide end-user training and support on hardware and software.
- Aid in the rollout of new PCs and provide imaging and deployment support.
- Provide printer troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Trace and manage cables for hardware setup.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Experience with Windows 10-11, SCCM, and Microsoft Intune is preferred.
- Experience with computer imaging.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills for end-user interaction and training.
