Our client is seeking a Network Security/DevOps Engineer for a PART TIME role in Troy, MI!

- $57 per hour pay rate
- Part Time - 15-20 hours per week

Only considering candidates with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, information security, or equivalent with 10-15 years of experience in an IT administrator role
- A client-focused approach as demonstrated by the ability to implement Information Security/Networking best practices and procedures
- Working experience configuring and monitoring Palo Alto firewalls
- Working experience configuring and monitoring Juniper SRX as a VPN service
- Working experience configuring and monitoring Juniper EX switches and implementing PoE wireless access points (WAPs)
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux system administration, containers, automation scripts
- Capability to configure LDAP services and integrating them across a mixed Palo Alto / Juniper network configuration
- Ability to deploy and manage services that utilize LDAP, 802.1x, Gitlab, Confluence, and Jira
- Knowledge of scripting languages for the purpose of system administration (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Perl, etc.)
- Understanding and usage of automation tools to simplify security log reviews
- Knowledge of globally recognized Security Frameworks / Information Security Management Systems (NIST SP 800-53, ISO27001, SOX, PCI, ITAR)
- Experience installing, troubleshooting and configuring network security devices, wireless access points, switches, servers, network patching, etc.
