Our client, a well-known entertainment company, is looking for a Director of Partnership Marketing to join their team for a hybrid 4-6 month contract for a leave of absence coverage. This position requires working onsite 2-3 days week in Santa Monica, CA.
In this role, you will lead editorial and paid marketing campaigns across various platforms and partnerships, focusing on acquiring, engaging, and retaining users. You’ll work closely with wholesale, enterprise, and distribution partners to promote Hulu’s brand, content, and offers. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing marketing campaigns and working with digital distribution and partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement partnership marketing strategy, focusing on growing subscribers, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Manage marketing campaigns across devices like connected TVs and gaming consoles, driving subscriber growth and performance.
- Lead relationships with device partners and work with agencies to ensure campaign goals are met.
- Supervise the team that executes and optimizes these campaigns.
- Work with internal teams to improve audience targeting and campaign tracking.
- Oversee partner marketing campaigns with wholesale, enterprise, and editorial partners.
- Act as the main point of contact between marketing team and other departments like Business Development.
- Identify new marketing opportunities and participate in planning future projects with partners.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in partnership marketing, media, or general management/marketing for consumer-facing brands is a must.
- Excellent track record in partner marketing and ability to create successful marketing campaigns that benefit both Hulu and its partners.
- Experience with Google stack (DV360, SA360, DCM)
- Exposure to Datorama, Liveramp CDP, AppsFlyer, Tealium (or equivalent tag manager), Neustar, DoubleVerify, Facebook, Snap, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Understanding of GDPR and CCPA and their impact on media buying.
- Experience with testing and optimizing marketing strategies (A/B testing, incrementality testing, and dynamic creative optimization)
- 4+ years of people management experience.
