Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Henderson, NC
Pay: $22/hour
Experience:
- Previous experience in preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, particularly in the airline industry or with tire and axle machinery.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred).
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm (Ability to work OT, holidays, and weekends as needed)
Greene Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on airline equipment, tire machines, axle machines, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes, and troubleshoot to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Identify potential equipment failures by conducting regular inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Position Requirements:
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, tire machines, and axle machines.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, maintenance equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in the maintenance field.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in various environments.
