Reliance First Capital, LLC, a leading national Mortgage Lender located in Melville, NY, is seeking a
Compliance Reporting Analyst to join our growing organization. This position will work directly with our mortgage banking regulatory and compliance legal department to assist with reporting and auditing while ensuring the accuracy of all data.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with regulatory reporting tasks including extensive:
- Data preparation; extracting data from mortgage LOS for analysis
- Utilize proper filtering functions for required reporting data
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- Assist with compliance auditing
- Assist with compliance duties to include preparing HMDA reporting
- Handle regulatory compliance reporting tasks, including NMLS mortgage call report, state-level monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Identify any potential discrepancies and make recommendations to improve or modify any processes
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Ideal Candidate Must Possess
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Strong Excel skills are required, including pivot tables, V-lookup and macros
- Solid critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, fast learner; Ability to multitask and work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with regulatory/compliance or the mortgage industry is a plus
