As a Field Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Oil & Gas industry client pipelines, oil tank farms, refineries, and other industrial facilities across the United States from corrosion. You will be responsible for traveling throughout the country, working closely with our clients, and applying our proprietary and unique solutions to protect vital assets. These solutions represent a paradigm shift in the way asset owners/operators approach corrosion management, and you will be at the forefront of industry-wide change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install our solutions at various client sites; protected assets could include pipelines, oil storage tanks, and various equipment in refineries.
- Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to determine corrosion mitigation requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to develop and implement effective corrosion prevention strategies.
- Assist in running tests on R&D assemblies, work with prototypes, and assist with inventories and shipments.
- Create well-structured documents, including but not limited to, reports for fieldwork, method statements, statements of work, white papers, test reports, etc.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance during the installation and maintenance of our systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all field activities.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports of project progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during fieldwork.
- Assist in the training and development of junior team members, client staff, and third-party contractors.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools when applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in field implementation and/or technical work.
- Technical education required, but an engineering degree is not mandatory.
- Proficiency with anti-corrosion solutions, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
