A great client is seeking a EVP to join their team. They are in the start-up phase of a new company. The EVP will help actively build the team and resources necessary to launch innovative products.
Its technologies are centered on enhancing water and energy sustainability. The company focuses on addressing water lost to evaporation in cooling towers, representing over 5 billion gallons of overlooked daily losses. Their solution, utilizes HVAC ductwork positioned above cooling tower fans to direct humid air into an electric field and vapor-liquid separator, facilitating condensation and enabling the recovery of significant amounts of evaporated moisture.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, maintain, and develop the company's Technology portfolio with an initial focus on ALI. This will require a deep understanding of the physics involved and the ability to adapt and optimize the processes to develop commercial products. The executive will also lead and manage the product designs for manufacturing and production at contract manufacturers or licensees in the US initially, and eventually worldwide.
- The executive will initially use the support of third party contractors for all required detail engineering and then progressively build and manage in house technical capabilities.
- Lead the engagement with technical departments of OEMs for discussions that will lead to licensing or other partnership arrangements. The person will develop technology instructions so that OEMs can apply the technology on their own for sales of their equipment incorporating ALI.
- Will be responsible for providing technical support to Sales for handling customer questions before and after the sale. Also, they will develop a maintenance capability for ALI systems partially in house and with third-party service providers to ensure proper operation of ALI units after the sale. This would include training/teaching capability for ALI operation and maintenance.
- Build the company's technical team and develop the other technology fields. These include wastewater treatment, waste heat recovery, and photolytic hydrogen extraction from hydrogen sulfide and/or water.
Qualifications
- MS or Ph D in Engineering, preferably in Fluid Mechanics or Process Engineering 10+ years' experience directly involved in Engineering and Technology development
- Experience in developing manufacturing capabilities for new products
- Background in HVAC and Cooling Tower technology preferred
- Ability to manage engineering teams of various engineering fields either internally or through third-party contractors.
