Role: Jira Admin
Location: Bellevue, WA - Onsite
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Jira Admin/Jira Architect who can help with day-to-day admin tasks like making changes to existing projects but can also help with directional planning and implement architectural changes.
Skills/Experience:
1. Knows how to perform user management in Jira (user groups, adding users, product licenses etc).
2. Knows how to do general Jira admin tasks related to:
a. Workflows
b. Custom fields
c. Automation
d. Screen schemes
e. Roles
f. Permissions
- Willing to do knowledge transfers with other team members on topics they are more skilled in.
- Scripting experience (ie Script runner or Groovy scripts). This can help with automation in Jira and create other improvements to the system.
- Able to evaluate the Atlassian system of products as a whole and determine what additional Atlassian products should be added or other high level architectural changes that would improve the whole system.
- Would be nice if they are able to create PowerBI dashboards.
- Would be nice if they have experience migrating one Jira/Confluence instance to another (ie data center to cloud or cloud to cloud).
- Would be nice if they have set up SSO for their Atlassian users and know that process.
- Would be nice if they know how to use Advanced Roadmaps.
- Ideally would have worked on an instance of Jira with over 1,000 users so they know of issues that come with having a large user base.
- Ability prioritize and reprioritize as need to ensure customers have as little down time as possible.
- Able to meet deadlines and SLA’s
- Has the initiative to learn any of the skillsets listed below and become a SME in any of those areas.
- Conduct training documentation and sessions as needed.
- All other tasks as needed to support the team and customers.
