We've partnered with a global leader in freight forwarding company on their search for an Account Executive for their Houston office. The Account Executive will play a key role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales by identifying and closing new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and NVOCC sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Leverage knowledge of trade lanes and commodity groups to provide customized solutions for clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Present and promote the company’s services through effective communication and negotiation.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of active sales experience in an NVOCC, Freight Forwarder, or Steamship Line.
- In-depth understanding of key trade lanes and commodity groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
- Highly self-motivated, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented and disciplined, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
