We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable HR Professional who is responsible for coordinating all human resouces activities related to the workforce. Some of the duties include developing recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing benefits, payroll, and onboarding new employees. A hands-on position parepaing reports, interviewing candiates, conducting health care & benifits enrollmnet meetings.
The Successful candidate will have experience in a Manufacturing or other Industrial work setting.
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or Administrative Specialist of at least 5 years.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases (perfered ADP)
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Have a degree in Human Resources or related field
- Ability to research compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, and retention.
- Provides support and guidance with management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with Department Heads to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
