Licensed Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist
Overview:
Peak Performance Institute is dedicated to advancing neuropsychological and psychological health for adults facing neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, behavioral, and emotional challenges. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychologist committed to clinical excellence and compassionate care. This role includes conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for adults, overseeing psychometrists, creating personalized treatment plans, and providing essential feedback to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical interviews, cognitive assessments, and psychological evaluations to diagnose a broad range of conditions.
- Lead and mentor psychometrists, ensuring high-quality assessment and evaluation.
- Develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Provide detailed feedback to patients and their families, explaining diagnoses and the factors impacting mental health.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, integrated care.
- Maintain precise medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, including overseeing report generation and data management.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in psychology.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology.
- Valid license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Arizona.
- Knowledge and comfort working with neurodegenerative conditions (e.g., Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, dementia), TBI, and other neurocognitive disorders.
- Knowledge and comfort working with neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD).
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Proven expertise in administering and evaluating cognitive and psychological assessments.
- Ability to provide crisis intervention services.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse client populations.
- Background in neuropsychology or geriatric psychology, with the ability to assess adults across a wide range of conditions.
While postdoctoral residency in Neuropsychology is preferred, we are committed to supporting the professional growth of candidates who are in training or have not yet completed their residency. However, candidates with advanced training and experience will be prioritized.
