To support our growth in the US, Midea is expanding its research and innovation capabilities at Midea America Research Center (MARC). With this objective, MARC seeks a User Researcher for our Vacuum Products.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Lead global market trend analysis and user insight gathering, assessing market data across various sectors to support industry and product planning for new product initiatives.
- Conduct consumer research to explore domestic and international consumer habits, purchasing trends, and product usage behaviors. Refine and articulate key product selling points and innovations, translating them into actionable three-generation projects.
- Drive the conceptualization and implementation of innovative product/technology concepts. Coordinate with R&D resources to plan product roadmaps and deliver innovative selling propositions and technologies, ensuring successful project execution.
- Integrate internal and external product resources to establish a unified global platform. Facilitate local evaluation of export projects to optimize resource utilization and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years' experience in product planning within the home appliances or related industries, demonstrating keen market and user insight abilities.
- Strong proficiency in logical analysis, systematic and innovative thinking.
- Capable of independently executing new product technology planning and implementation, driven by proactive initiative.
- Familiarity with product development processes is essential.
This is a full-time position. Some domestic and international travel is required.
