Job: Outside Sales Representative

**MUST HAVE some Commercial Modular sales/rentals experience. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven success in consultative selling to a variety of industries, including construction, education, energy, government/military and more. Proficiency with Salesforce CRM would also be a strong asset.**
Territory Sales Manager for this territory and responsible for developing new business as well as managing an existing customer base and within this designated geographical territory through the sale and lease of commercial modular structures, both new and used.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a branch marketing and business development plan that focuses on penetrating concentrated markets for new business
- Attain annual business plan
- Daily Prospecting and lead development of new customers. Source public bid opportunities for commercial modular projects
- Account management to maintain existing customers and obtain renewals or repeat business, including routinely visiting on-lease buildings with current customers
- Clearly defining the project scope with the customer and relaying this information to Operations Manager to obtain vendor pricing. (Perform preliminary site inspections to define scope.)
- Creation of the estimate (bid sheet) within Salesforce and with the Operations Manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years selling to the following industries: construction, education, energy, government/military sales experience is required
- Rental sales experience a strong asset
- Strong full cycle sales development skills (deals can range from 1 week to 1 year in duration)
- Documented successful Business-to-Business technical sales experience in commercial modular or associated construction industry (5 years industry experience preferred)
- Demonstrated advanced sales skills including qualification, consultative selling, negotiating, relationship building, and account management
- Strong technical, mechanical, and estimating aptitudes, with proven experience in obtaining building permits and understanding of the local municipal approval process
- Working knowledge of blueprints, building codes, AIA/Construction terminology a plus
- Ability to represent the company professionally and positively with internal personnel and external customers
