Summary:
Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join our Scottsdale office's Insolvency and Financial Law Group. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in bankruptcy and litigation, with a preference for those who have represented senior lenders. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Arizona, possess strong writing skills, and have excellent academic credentials.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in complex bankruptcy and financial litigation cases.
- Represent clients in financial reorganization cases, both in and out of court.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs related to insolvency issues.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to defend secured status and creditor rights.
- Participate in negotiations and develop strategic solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
- Strong bankruptcy and litigation experience (experience with senior lenders is a plus).
- Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
