The Construction Estimator will be responsible for estimating the costs of new construction projects, including the materials, labor, and equipment required. They also ensure that the project is cost-efficient throughout construction.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and analyzing market conditions
- Visiting construction sites to learn about the client's requirements
- Analyzing blueprints, proposals, and construction documents
- Collaborating with construction managers
- Supervising vendor and subcontractor bids
- Negotiating with suppliers
- Gaining quotes from subcontractors
- Compiling cost proposals for the client
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred
- 2+ years of Estimating Experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
