Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and overseeing individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, providing training and support to staff, and collaborating with families to enhance the quality of life for individuals with behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to behavioral support.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians and other staff in the implementation of BIPs.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on program development and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other behavioral challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a clinical, educational, or community setting.
- Familiarity with various assessment tools and ABA techniques.
