Title: Patient Care Coordinator
Rate: $18.50/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday Need to work an 8 hours shift between 8am-6:30pm

Duration: Starting at a 6 – 12 month contract to hire
Summary:
Handling inbound and outbound calls daily, providing a white glove experience of patient care to patients. This includes navigating computer systems and the use of the phone system.
Responsibilities:
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
- Sets up pharmacy shipments by verifying patient information and prescription for delivery; verifying and inputting method of payment; using the client systems to process patient information and delivery carrier and method; and logging calls and customer information (for example, name, date of birth, address, method of payment, notate call information, how to ship order).
- Provides customer service to pharmacy patients by responding to customer calls and emails; using the client systems, training, and manual to resolve customer and associate inquiries; maintaining confidentiality of patient health information; processing and submitting call requests (for example, refills, transfers, payments, new prescription requests, pricing requests); identifying and resolving discrepancies for customers' orders; and researching customers billing issues.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

- Enters, locates and navigates information on computer using the pharmacy interface.
- Presents information to small or large groups and individuals.
- Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment.
- Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as a pencil or pen) or computer.
- Visually verifies information, often in small print.
- Reads information, often in small print.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year experience in customer service.
- Phone skill experience
- 1 year experience using computers
