About the Role:
The Low-Voltage Wiring Integrations Technician Supervisor oversees the installation, integration, and maintenance of low-voltage wiring systems, including AV, network cabling, and security systems. You will lead teams to build high-end post-production facilities, manage AV equipment installations, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. CAD proficiency is essential for creating and reviewing technical drawings, optimizing workflows, and improving system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems (network cabling, AV, security, control).
- Lead teams in constructing post-production facilities and AV equipment racks.
- Develop and review CAD drawings for project planning.
- Manage project lifecycles, ensure quality control, and provide technical guidance.
- Conduct site assessments and collaborate with clients to meet project requirements.
- Oversee procurement, inventory, and documentation for multiple projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years in low-voltage installations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Expertise in AV integration, CAD, and low-voltage systems.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with NEC, ANSI/TIA, and related regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in low-voltage systems (BICSI, CEDIA).
- Experience with smart building technologies and project management software.
Competencies:
- Ability to train team members and optimize system integration processes.
- Strong client focus and attention to detail in project delivery.
