About the Role
We are partnered with a leading electric vehicle fast-charging network developer who owns and operating over 1000 chargers across the West Coast.
They are continuing to grow and are looking for a Field Service Technician Manager who will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability for their EV Charging Stations. This role will establish, document, and implement all processes and procedures, troubleshoots, and repairs playing a crucial role in maintaining the commissioning of their charging infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead all Process and Systems Implementation work to establish and document robust processes, procedures, and systems for field service operations, including troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and commissioning of EV charging stations
- Manage maintenance, upgrades, and other operational campaigns to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of EV charging stations.
- Ensure efficient scheduling and dispatching of field technicians, ensuring visibility of work order status, completion, and resource adequacy
- Oversee the performance of the network, making continuous improvements to enhance uptime, reliability, and efficiency
- Lead trend analysis and KPI Tracking to monitor, track and report any reoccurring systemic issues there may be
- Maintain and build close relationships with vendors to ensure proactive and reactive maintenance of charging infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a field management capacity within the EV charging or related Energy industry
- Solid understanding of DC Fast Charger (DCFC) technology and infrastructure
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and training field service teams.
- Track record of successfully leading a robust field service management team from process to procedure to training
- Experience in selecting and implementing a CMMS
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external vendors.
