What you’ll be doing:
As an E-Learning Developer, you will be responsible for creating interactive and effective e-learning modules and courses that support employee development across various roles. You will collaborate closely with instructional designers, corporate trainers and Learning & Development leadership to translate learning objectives into engaging digital learning experiences using multimedia and instructional design principles.
A day in your life might include
- Design and develop interactive e-learning modules and courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator) or similar platforms.
- Design interactive elements, animations, and multimedia assets to enrich learning experiences and reinforce key concepts.
- Develop visual narratives and storytelling techniques to effectively communicate learning objectives and engage learners throughout their educational journey.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to analyze content, identify learning objectives, and storyboard course materials.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, graphics, animations, and multimedia elements to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure e-learning content is SCORM-compliant and compatible with learning management systems (LMS) for seamless deployment and tracking.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure functionality, usability, and accessibility of e-learning modules across various devices and platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in e-learning development to innovate and enhance training solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and stakeholders during e-learning module deployment and implementation.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an e-learning developer or graphic designer, with at least 5 years of experience designing and developing interactive e-learning content.
- Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar e-learning development software.
- Experience & knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and usability standards for digital learning.
- Experience in multimedia production, including graphic design, video editing, animation, and audio production for e-learning modules.
- Knowledge of SCORM and other e-learning standards, as well as learning management systems (LMS) for content delivery and tracking.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to achieve learning objectives.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
